Low and High Ropes Challenge Courses
This is where you will truly challenge yourself and grow in the process. Our low and high ropes challenge courses will have you feeling accomplished at the close of the day.
Mountain Biking
If you seek true adventure, this course is for you. The trails are rocky and ambitious, but the skills you learn along the way will keep you speeding along and having fun.
Horseback Riding
Campers have the opportunity to add horseback riding lessons to their camp experience. Our expert team of instructors teach Western style riding as campers develop proficiency and begin to navigate our private trails.
Hiking
These off-site day-long trips allow campers to explore the beauty of the Pocono Mountains. Lace up your boots and join us on the trails to learn about trees, insects, the woodland ecosystem, and more.
Animal Center
Our animal and nature center features a vast range of furry, scaley, and soft friends, ready for campers to care for and nurture. Campers learn how to handle, feed, and play with a variety of farm animals, reptiles, and exotic species.
Tree-based Course
This unique course features zip lining, climbing walls, the vertical gym, and the giant swing. Enhance your self-confidence and discover the magic of team building and cooperation with others as you work together.
Kfar Teva
Nestled in the woods of NJY Camps’ 1250-acre property is our Kfar Teva campsite. Kfar Teva is an Israeli style camping experience, where campers are immersed in Israeli cooking and culture. Campers spend an afternoon and overnight cooking on an open fire, sleeping in tents, singing songs, learning valuable outdoor skills such as fire building, and most importantly strengthening bonds and creating new friendships! Our highly skilled specialists join us each year from Israel with many years of outdoor education experience. Kfar Teva is always a highlight of a camper’s summer at Cedar Lake!
